I want to live in a place that we can all feel proud of. Where the streets are smart and the properties look tidy. A place I enjoy being, others love to visit, and where our young people of all ages have a variety of activities and shelter come rain or shine.I want to understand what matters to the people of Peel; to work with the community to make positive, impactful change. Through increased communication and transparency, and with new ways to interact with the commissioners, I believe we could all be better informed on what is going on, and why.A mission statement for the commissioners should be created so the purpose is clear to everyone. Useful achievable goals should be formed to work towards enhancing Peel. It should be obvious what is and is not within the control of the commissioners.I want to ensure new projects are relevant and align with the mission statement. Good governance should be put in place to keep control of the scope, budgets and timeframes. Do the basics properly for a solid foundation to build upon.I don't have all the answers yet, but I will listen and ask a lot of questions, to enable us to make better informed decisions, and drive our collective vision to great outcomes, benefiting more people of Peel for more hours of the day.Vote for me if you agree – on the 24th of April at Corrin Hall, Derby Road. You will find me walking the family dog most days, regardless of the weather. I have a young family and enjoy our time together. I appreciate good food and a good film. I have worked in technical and project roles, or for technology focused companies, for over 25 years.I am willing to put myself forward to seek to improve the quality of life for our community today, and for future generations to grow up in Peel tomorrow.Thank you
